Spring?

No. I can not say that Spring has arrived but it seems to be arriving.

Bill and our took our first vacation by ourselves.

We had time to hike, sitesee and rest.

Good week.

Practicing....

It tooks years to do so

but I finally got a DSLR.

A gift from Bill.

The weather was not good for

nature photography this week

so I spent time learning to use my new macro lens.

Netsukes are good subjects.

Cooperative.

Tireless.

Immobile.

This is the first Netsuke I purchased 25 years ago.

We found it in Hawaii.

I picked this subject because we were awaiting the arrival of our first child.

This is one my mother got as a gift from her sister -in -law.

Such detail.

Not a netsuke.

But serene....

I had an urgent need to see open water so headed for the Dam.

I wonder if someone was planning for a skiing injury

or if there was a sudden recovery.

Experiencing the Home and Garden Show

Attending the Home and Garden Show is a different experience
when you are not doing any projects.

This year I spent more time looking at things that I do NOT want or need.

The metal palm trees are not
a good fit for our landscape.

Outdoor Movies might scare the birds.

Not even the energy rebate makes these fireplaces appealing.

This guy has a disturbing resemblance to a family member.
